Rewards of the Perfect Gift

Every year, we ponder the condition of our world and it seems so antithetical to the message of this season.  Then, the words of a carol come to mind and reaffirm all that this gift has provided.  The poem was written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, who had his share of trials.  (You can read about them HERE).  The words that bring such comfort to us might also encourage you:

And in despair I bowed my head;
“There is no peace on earth,” I said;
“For hate is strong,

Remembering and Extending Our Wishes to You

Today, we are remembering how blessed we are to possess this gift and the many blessings that He has provided, one of which is your presence in our lives and/or your faithfully following this series of articles.  Even if we rarely see or hear from you or if we are separated by many miles — even half a world away — we have been blessed by your presence in our lives.
